About Us
This is the journey of a chess prodigy and a source of pride for City (Nashville), State (Tennessee), and National (USA) levels. By age 18, he had been honored by the United States Chess with the prestigious Lifetime titles of ‘National Master (NM)’ and ‘Candidate Master (CM)’. He rewrote records and inspired everyone to dream big.
He is our very own Hemachandra Rambha (Hemi) who has been traveling for the last 12 years from grade 1, tens of thousands of miles, around 20 states to compete in 700+ tournaments across the USA, improving his skills through relentless study and practice dedicated over 10,000 hours. He sacrificed many childhood joys for his passion, yet managed his academics exceptionally well, actively participated in several club activities, graduated from high school with excellent grades, as a varsity Tennis player, and as a co-captain of the bowling team.
